How to prepare for a session with an animal communicator
As an avid animal lover, haven’t you ever wondered what your favorite four-legged creature is thinking? Our pet relationships are some of the most enriching and meaningful bonds in our multifaceted lives. Many of us spend a lot of time considering our animals, and the truth is, they consider us, too! This mutual empathy not only opens our hearts and minds to learn about and better understand our pets, it paves space for our furry friends to convey their experiences with us. For instance: What happened to them before they came to you? How do they view their role in your life? What might help them feel more safe and secure? Ultimately, we all strive for comfort, comradery, happiness and meaning.
Horses, Pigs & Goats, Oh My!
Before approaching “O.B. the Goat” and “Jason the Pot Belly Pig,” I carefully studied their anatomies. I wanted to make sure that the muscles on which I was working were tailored to the animals, so that not only would I do no harm, but that I would indeed make a positive difference in their lives.
Can You Massage a Goat?
When I treat O.B. the goat, he's back to his delightful mobile self, almost as though he never had a problem. I didn't think that I could have such a big impact on him, but he's always so pleased to see me. O.B. either runs straight my way or straight to the pen for us to get busy!
Can You Massage a Pig?
Pigs love a good massage, too.
Jason was instantly receptive when I laid hands on him, and even started yawning, a sign of pressure release as well as relaxation. I started to notice that he would stand up and shift his weight for me to work in certain areas or, if he was feeling lazy, he would lay down and then flop over to the area I was trying to reach.
Dying with Grace
“In my opinion, one of our biggest responsibilities as animal owners is to help them pass in a way that is as peaceful and as pain free as possible. Over the past decade, Liz has helped me and my animals find the right time and way to navigate end-of-life decisions, helping create an experience that has left me feeling even more connected to my animals after they’ve passed.” -Mica, Denver, CO

Quiet Whisper Loud Response
Something as quiet as a whisper can have a huge impact.
I love seeing the response that comes from the tiniest of changes, the tiniest of asks. It is powerful to be able to see subtle shifts and how they allow people to complete huge tasks with an animal as big as a horse. I know it happens when I see the smile, the spark of joy.
